Events for October 7, 2026

Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels, this fall we will gather on the first Wednesday of the month in the choir room to create gentle hugs with yarn, prayer and positive energy to remind folks that even in the most challenging times of their lives, they are not alone.

Barrhaven Friends of Victoria’s Quilts help provide handmade quilts to comfort people living with cancer. At our meetings we pin and check quilts so no sewing experience is necessary. If you are comfortable making a quilt, kits are available to take home. Our next meeting is Oct 7 at 12:30 pm in the BUC Hall….
