An Open Invitation remains extended to all, to join the BUC Anti-Racism & Inclusion Working Group (WG)’s ongoing journey of learning and growth. During the month of March, the WG will meet on Monday evenings from 7-9pm via Zoom for a 4-week session on the topic of “Micro-Aggressions, Active Witnessing & Response-Ability”. The schedule will be as follows, with pre-session recommended readings and video viewings. Please note: videos may contain offensive language.

** Sahada Alolo
Sahada Alolo is the Manager of Community Engagement at Multi-faith Housing Initiative (MHI) where she serves as a liaison between MHI and the 70+ different faith communities that are members of MHI. Sahada is also the president of the Ottawa Muslim Women’s Organization, the co-chair of the Community Equity Council of the Ottawa Police and an Executive member of the African Canadian Association of Ottawa. Sahada has a Masters degree in human service specializing in non-profit management, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
