We invite you to share this newsletter with youth, young adults and leaders in your community of faith.

This event is for all youth aged 13+ interested in confirmation.

Along with an overview of Christian and UCC history, and practical skills such as how to use the Bible, we’ll be playing games, eating homemade snacks, and exploring who we are through our stories of belonging and meaning within the United Church of Canada.

The cost is $60pp, however contact Dana if financial support is needed.

Moderator + MacKay UC+ Winterlude = Worshiplude 2026!!!

So far over 100 youth, young adults, and leaders have registered to gather in celebration of faith and winter in Ottawa Sat. Jan, 31st.

This year, MacKay United Church is graciously hosting Worshiplude and sharing their special music ministry through the Jazz ensemble – Fieldnotes.

Fieldnotes will be taking us on a journey exploring how we live a Lush Life in Faith through music and mediations offered by the Regional youth and young adults.

This year’s very special guest, the Moderator, Rev. Dr. Kimberly Heath will also join us to share a reflection and lead communion.

This year Cahoots is back at Pearce Williams Camp from May 21-24, 2026. This is a great intergenerational event. We hope that some folks from our regional council are able to participate this year. A national gathering for Youth, Young Adults, and their leaders, presented jointly by The United Church of Canada and the Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Collective is an opportunity to grow in faith, build community, and reflect on shared experiences—together.

Collective 2026 will include large-group gatherings, along with dedicated sessions designed to inspire, challenge, and equip the diverse streams of young people attending. Each day will be filled with worship, recreation, discipleship groups, interactive workshops—and of course, delicious meals!
